I have a top hat ambassador 35 2x12 coming in, and I'm looking into changing a speaker in it to a blue. So can I run an alnico blue and 30 watt g12h in this, or should I look at something else?

Thats technically overpowering the blue. A 15 and 30 watt speaker together will be rated at 30 watts or twice the lowest power handling speaker. The G12H-30 is conservatively rated and well within its rated poweranyways. I dont know about the Blue. Bob

Divided by 13's FTR 37 is rated at 37 watts and the manufacturer's recommended speaker pairing is a Blue and G12H30.
That said I blew out a Celestion Blue in a 2x12 with a G12H30 with my 65 Amps London (18 watt amp) and a fuzz pedal.
