Is it as simple as using one of the first 4 slots on the PP2 and then flicking the underneath switch for that position to 'on'? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so- the Mega Vibe runs at 12V- IIRC, the PP2 doesn't offer that option.

Thanks waveydb. I've read so many things abput 12v and the various options of the PP2 that it gets confusing.

Contact Voodoo Labs. They probably sell a cable you can use. I have one for my MXR Chorus pedal that took a power supply different than the standard 9v. It takes two spots on my PP2+, but I can have it plugged into the PP on my board.

No, he's right. That switch is for Boss pedals that need an ACA adapter. It spits out 12V.

I know this is a late post, but here goes.
THe ACA 12volt on the PP2+ did not work well with my mega. But it works well with the Line 6 setting. You may need to check the polarity of the adapter, though. Mine is reversed from the typical Boss connection. Only because that is what Kevin had in is adapter pile at the time.

Jeff, I noticed you on the Dr Z forum also. Where in Texas are you?

I have measured the voltage coming out of the wall warts that came with two different megavibes. Both read 18 volts. Both were factory labeled 12v.

An unregulated power supply will read higher than the listed voltage, then the unit will draw what it needs, don't ask me how. Looking at the PP2+ specs for the Line 6 settings, it is unregulated..the PP2+ ACA setting is regulated.

    On the PP2.
    Use output 5 or 6.
Switch beneath should go up (not on normal).
    Get a reverse polarity cable.

    You're good to go

Works like a charm for me.
