Phew that's a long name. It arrived with some pick scratches but really plays well, has nice sustain and nice, smooth fret ends as well so I decided to keep 'er after MF made me very happy with a price adjustment. Those stock pups sound good to my ears after some substantial lowering.

Thanks Gary, I've really missed the LP mojo after selling my previous one a few months ago.

Congrats, that is NICE! Can we see the back, and does it have the '59 neck?

I think the neck may be the '59 rounded like on the Vintage Mahoganies. It is not quite as chunky as my Bluesboy.

    Thanks jmgman70.

Pearly Gator, it has the 490/498t combo. The 498t is very hot - it growls like the JB in my Charvel but I found lowering it flush with the pickup rings made all the difference in the world. I'm usually an immediate pickup swapper but these sound real good to me.

Is this guitar heavy? And is the outside color more brownish red? Thanks, it is beautiful.

It's weighing in at 7 lbs - the same as my alder Charvel. The top doesn't have as much of a hollow sound when tapping on it as my former Vintage Mahogany did, probably due to maple being heavier. And the color is Heritage Cherry. Cherry is an apt description. It is not really brown as the tint in the photo might indicate, more a deep red.

Groovy! The faded maple top Studio hooks me in a big way. Congrats!
