My dad got this Antigua for me as my 1st "Real" electric guitar.

I played this guitar for many years in bars, dance halls, and concert stages.

The smoke and light really had a chemical reaction with the paint and made much greener and yellower.

It may be at the bottom rung of finishes that Fender has ever done, but it will stay in my collection until I die.

Not for me, but I think it's very tastefully done. And that kind of color could get heinous quickly.

Ugh. Looks like a relief map.

From what, exactly, I’m not sure. I’ll decide later.

I love Antigua and I love that interpretation of it. One of these days I’m going to get an extremely modern superstrat in Antigua.

Worst finish ever, no matter who does it...

Surf green finally got out of last place the first time I saw an Antigua

Regardless of the color, the JM is a killer guitar. I have a Sonic Blue JM Pro and it plays and sounds fantastic.

I really want to try an S90 (p90 style pickup) version at some point.

For an every day playing, gigging guitar, it’s an excellent performer.

That looks pretty good for a Suhr. Though I don't think there is quite enough green in it.

I guess the answer to this question is a subjective one.

There had to have been a marketing opportunity for Fender to market a Clapton Antigua Strat particularly when his Crossroads clinic is located in Antigua.
