    I have a few pedals in an SKB pedal case (with the velcro). I want to put them in the correct sequence. This is what I have going into my original 1964 Fender Deluxe (no verb):

    TS-9 -> DS-1 -> Wah -> Rotovibe -> Boss DD-3

    I am buying a verbzilla today and I might swap out the stock DS-1 for an MI Audio Crunch box. Would the reverb go after the DD-3 (last in the chain?)

    I also have a phaser. Where would that be best?

    Thanks!!

    I think that would depend on what Phaser and Wah he's got. They might not play well with each other.

    Wah first?? I always thought the way should go AFTER any distortion.

    Thanks!

    It's all personal preference. Do you want to wah your dirt, or put dirt on your wah?

    Gotcha! For my wah, I like it to sound dirty and saturated. Kind of like the way Kirk Hammett used it on Kill 'em All as a a filter!

    You're just going to have to build your signal chain 1 pedal at a time. There's no rules for what goes where....sure there are guidelines....but those are moot if they don't get you the sounds you're after.
