I currently have both. I want to run my FD II into either one of these. I currently have a SCXD and telecaster, strat. To me the Timmy gets just a little bit more clarity..not much of a huge advantage over the OCD to my ears.

    Thoughts?

having had both I felt the ocd was dark and naturally the timmy was my amp just pushed harder so I liked it more so I'd say timmy, they're very different pedals

I don't own either, have been considering buying/trading some ODs and looked into both. I liked the Timmy much more, the OCD kinda takes over the tone a bit to me... I generally like more mild OD or boost to push the amp into breakup. With that said, the Timmy being cleaner and partly boost, you can't really take full advantage of it on an amp that has a solid state front end.

    I have both too.
If You want to stack one of them as a second pedal,
for me Timmy is a clear choice. It excels at this :aok

I had both, Timmy is more an extension of your amp, while the OCD is dirt applied to your tone. The OCD was not an easy pedal to stack, while Timmy is friendly with almost anything .

    :agree

Nicely said. I love my OCD v4 however it is hard to stack. Does create some great over-the-top crunch when on after my NYC Muff though...

Great comments here. I think I will stick with the Timmy to stack with my FDII. Just much more versatility and options especially as I look to upgrade to another amp someday.

I had both. Sold the OCD. Many other pedals cover it's ground.
Nothing else covers the Timmy's ground.

This. Timmy's a pushed amp sound in an instant. I love it.

Ok, now would you pair an ocd with it or keep with a fulldrive 2?
