Can't decide! Super Reverb or Atomic Space Tone?

I need an amp for my new telecaster. I can't decide between an AST and a Super Reverb. I play mainly blues and rock. I might use a little overdrive and a couple pedals. Which one is best for me?

They are SO different sounding, and there is about a 20 watt difference between the two. Both amps are good for blues and rock in different ways. Depends on what you need and what sound you're going for. I have a DRRI and AST. I love them both, and they are nothing alike.

Yeah; very, very different amps. if you want very big, loud cleans, the Super. If not so loud nor clean necessarily and would enjoy a lighter weight amp for schlepping around, then the AST....

well...like everyone else has said already...these amps are world apart!

I find that the AST's darker tone really warms up the Tele...in fact, if I play my tele(s), I'm almost always going through the AST. There is something about that combination that is really magic.

But...you can't go wrong with either, really....good luck!
