I can't for the life of me figure out what he is playing on the wah walk up half way through the chorus. Nothing I can find online is close

Anybody have it notated out or could point me n the right direction?

    Thanks in advance!

That above clip is pretty close. I do it similar but maybe a note or two diff. Watch a few live clips. He does alter it a little from the live videos I've seen. But you can get an idea and piece it together. I always played it as starting in 7th pos. and walks up to 12th. E harmonic minor into the E blues scale. It's tough learning fast wah licks sometimes, it's all garbled up.

You did a great job of typin' it. That's from the Cherry Lane transcription book. There's quite a few mistakes in that book if you go through and play along with the record. I think he climbs on the B string, also I think the "17", high A is wrong and should be a G , or 15.

Thanks Budda! You're definitely right, that high A (e string 17th) is dead wrong. I agree G (15th) sounds better. About the mistakes... I can't tell you how many "transcription" books I penciled and pen'd all over when I was younger. (somtimes I was wrong, sometimes right).

There's a Hal Leonard Cliffs of Dover that is brutal!
