I have an old Dunlop and I’m looking to upgrade.

I play mostly electric but would like to use it on acoustic too, if possible.

I’d prefer to use something I could remove somewhat easily in case I want to do key changes.

I have been a Shubb user since '94, but I just got the new G7th Performance 3 after reading about it in the capo thread from a few days ago. It is the best capo I have tried. I still like my Shubbs (I own 3), but the G7th is perfect. It is so quick to get on, and there is never any issue with tuning or string buzz. The tension is always just right. I didn't think capos needed to be improved on, but the G7th is a gamechanger.

Planet Waves NS is hands down my favorite. Spring-based capos have no nuance in their operation, and can cause intonation issues.

On the pricey side of things, I have a handmade Elliott capo for my resonator guitar. It’s fantastic.

I've been using Shubb for years but recently have begun using Paige. Especially great for live performances...

I am fed up with my cheap ass capo...It knocks my strings sharp on my tele and on my Acoustic. No matter what I do!
I tend to like what Planet Waves makes..
D'Addario Planet Waves PW-CP-07 NS Capo Lite
    and the
Planet Waves PW-CP-09 NS Tri-Action Capo Black
Have my interest..but one is bout 10$..the other 25...anyone here, so any REAL gain in the more expensive capo. SFAIK, so long as it has adjustable presure...I should have solved my problem, yes?

Kyser. There is no need to try any other.
I have used capos for 20 years and these are the business.

The new G7 with auto adjustment for fretboard radius are really great. Shubb’s are nice for acoustic.

Avoid the closepin style as they often pull the guitar out of tune.
