I dropped off the Magpie prototype for its debut through the Retro Wreck. Wichita asked for the pairing for tonight's video shoot, and I gladly obliged. It was also nice to hear his band mate shout, "YES!" when he saw the Magpie. I must be doing something right, and lord knows the Retro is KILLER!

To be fair, I tried to find a good pic of the Retro Wreck, but alas I could not. In the meantime, here's a pic of my seafood gumbo from last month.

Sam, the Magpie is stunning! And you killed me once already with the gumbo pic, did you have to do it again?!!!

What a beautiful finish on that guitar, Sam. I'm typically not a fan of black guitars, but the Magpie might just convert me.

Can't wait to see the video!

Thanks!! I think it looks pretty cool too. It's going to sound great with Lance pushing it through the Retro.

Really cool guitar!!

Thanks! I'm sure it, the Retro and Lance did a great job. I can't imagine a better trio.

And I tried to get this one done in time for the video shoot, but alas I had too much going on to make it happen. And I definitely didn't want to impose on Lance.

Which one, Stu? I like 'em both. Imagine that...;)

Ah.......well......honestly I never made it past the original post, but now that I go back and see the second I'd say they're both equally cool. I really dig your design aesthetic and hopefully will get a chance to play one of your guitars eventually.
