Carl Martin Rock Bug: direct recording

    I also posted this in the sound clip sub-forum, but I thought is post it here, as well.

    I really dig the Rock Bug, for recording and live--I use it for church which requires low stage volume.

    I think it sounds pretty good, but any advice would be appreciated!

    This is my first try at recording with my Carl Martin Rock Bug. I tried a couple varied numbers to get a good feel for it.

    Here's my basic signal chain:
    Timmy clone, spring reverb from Zoom G3, JHV3 buffer/boost, Carl Martin Rock Bug, XLR out. Recorded into Garage Band via Presonus Firestudio Mobile.

    First sample: Reverend Manta Ray, neck HB

    Second sample: Reverend Six Gun 2, tele-style bridge pickup. Mod Delay from Zoom G3 added.
