Carl's custom guitars fuzz

Anyone ever buy/try one of these fuzz pedals? Just curious what you thought of the sound and build quality. Did you like either type of fuzz better than the other? Thanks for any info.

I bought one some years ago. It stopped working after a few months.

Those "two fuzz in one" fuzz pedals don't generally work unless it switches between two different circuits. The just pull one transistor out will not make a MKII act much like a Fuzz Face.
