    • WTT: Carr Hammerhead Mkll Guitar Amp - $1400
    • Local pickup please.
I've got a clean, red Carr Hammerhead Mkll 1x12 combo that I'm looking to trade. It's a beautiful amp with it's own vibe. It runs el34's at 28 watts, and has a smoky overdrive that is fantastic and unique. Nice cleans, and overall...closer to Marshall/Mesa than Fender, but like I said...it's really got it's own voice.
It plays well with pedals, and it gets loud! When you get it set right, you can get a ton of control by using the volume controls on your guitar. I suppose that is true about most good amps.
These are handmade, PTP, and drip quality. I do jazz, blues, and fusion all of which sound sweet through this one. I've had fun doing the classic rock and grunge thing with it too, and that seems to be what it does best, but that's not really my gig (not often anyway). My reason for wanting to trade/sell...I have a Suhr Badger that gets the call for my heavier fusion stuff, a Ceriatone Overtone Special that gets my cleaner blues business, and a Deluxe Reverb that gets the jazz call. I don't really have a need for a rocker.
I'd really like to trade for something I'll use more. Like...
    -PRS CE or Custom 24
    -Gibson ES 137 classic
    -Gibson Les Paul Traditional
    -Gibson ES 335
    -Fender Robben Ford MIJ
-Another amp (more clean headroom or D-style).
-Have something else? I am always open to offers. Cash either way can be part of the equation.
Pictures will be posted on Thursday evening, and all questions are welcome.
This amp is a beast! It needs to be played!

Getting some interesting offers...Just not THE offer. If you are offering another amp...on-board reverb is a big plus!
