Purely from an aesthetics POV, which one do you prefer?
Cool set of pics.
Case-by-case, I'd mostly take the newer versions.
But some of the old designs are so pretty, that would outweigh the old-timey poor performance.
Again, a case by case. For muscle cars, I actually prefer resto-mods if I'm going to drive it. Like a nice clean classic car with fuel injection, good brakes, a working a/c, functional seat belts, appropriate rubber, and good handling.
All those vehicles were icons in their respective eras. It would be a disservice to the designers, engineers and enthusiasts to have to call a "best"
I would say they are all "best"
based on aesthetics only, I prefer the modern version in almost every case. I can appreciate the classics, but the modern stuff is just better IMO
To look at and drive on occasion: classics
To live with day-in-and-day-out: modern
Ummmmm,.....I'll just take one of these thanks:
Classic Vette and MB SL for me. Everything else, I prefer the modern version.
I mostly prefer the modern versions. The GTO, '69 Camaro, & Vette would be my exceptions.
Aesthetically, pretty much in every case shown I prefer the vintage car. Now, if I have to drive it everyday.......
Old for all but the Audi, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and VW GTI. If the Ferrari was something from the 60's, then I'd go with old on it too.
Modern in almost every case.
Really loving the C7 Corvettes.
