And late 50's Les Pauls found under the bed of an 80yo woman. A woman I just started dating's Mother has a Gibson under her bed in W. Virginia. Story is she played on a local gospel/country TV show up there. Well she bought the Gibby electric and they wouldn't let her play it on the show. So she put it back in the case and it has been under her bed ever since. I'm trying to find out what it is. All I know so far is it's late 50's and red. I'll keep everyone posted as I find out more.

It's definitely a red Les Paul from the 50's.

The daughter described it as red. I'd bet it's sunburst

Or it could be a red Les Paul Jr SG body.

Funny thing is they wouldn't let her play an electric on the show so she went back to acoustic.

If its a mint Burst, its probably only worth a quarter mil. or more, depending on the flame.
It could be a Cherry Red LP Junior or Special .

I have no interest in it whatsoever, but I think the story is neat.

It would be the only 1950's SG ever made.
