Stopped by a local shop the other day to have a volume knob replaced. They had a used carvin legacy combo sitting there so I plugged both a prs cu22 and a nice tele with lollars into it and gave it a spin. I thought the tones were really nice. The cleans were nice and warm and the drive was thick and juicy. Reverb was nice as well. Does anyone gig with one of these? Seems like it could cover a lot of musical territory.

I gigged in a Texas Country/Rock band with one. Stayed mostly on the clean channel and got drive from pedals.

practiced on the dirty channel and rode the volume knob.

still have it, still dig it.

I don't gig with one...but I got to play through one a while back. I liked what it had going on.

HAd one and traded it off.
I liked it, nice tones all around. Wa sbasically one of those things just sitting around not getting any play time as I have so many amps.
That being said, I could easily use the Legacy in almost any setting.

I may be mistaken, But Allan Holdsworth helped in the build process. I believe one of the controls is his design? Nice Blues amp.
