low lighting, comfortable clothes, stereo delay...

    woohooo!! Take your top off!!

    ahem.

Gorgeous setup, my friend. The Cub II with delay is one of my favorite dirty-clean tones...ever! Used it all over my new CD.

I'm so digging this dual small combo thing.
    GAAASSSS.

Are they both 2x10's? Correct me if I'm not seeing correctly.

that is the same one from NAMM. I was wanting to get one anyway, this one became available and I loved the look and had to have it. I think its one of the first ones they did in the ostrich covering

As for the differences in the Cub and Trem Cat. I use the Cub on small to medium sized gigs. It has a great (bypassable) master volume that allows to get some quality lower volume tones. It can do Ac-15 and 18-watt Marshall tones depending on how you set it. Pure Class A goodness. It has the meaty midrange that is the Bad Cat signature and a hefty bass response for an 18w 1x12 amp (but its quite heavy for what it is). Reverb is good but not as good as the trem cat.
The Trem Cat is a 30w amp so in general you have more punch and dynamics. I use it mostly on the occassional bigger stages and, during the summer months, on the outdoor gigs that play. It does have a half power setting for lower volumes, but the Cub is definitely easier to coax lower volume tones out of. The Trem Cat has two preamps, an EF86 based and a 12ax7 based. You can go through one or the other, both or you can bypass both.
Extremely rich and responsive, very thick tones. Its best tones are when its starting to breakup. The master volume works good but I like to bypass it when I can (club owner permitting). I use the EF86 side with my humbucker guitars and the 12ax7 side (as it add mids and some gain) with my teles. In fact these two amps in particular LOVE teles (and my Terrycaster) The Trem cat's 12ax7 side with a tele is heaven. You can play through both preamps together for very thick tones, or bypass the preamps and crank it for pure output tube distortion (a great sound with a Les Paul). The tremolo is great and the reverb is as good as any I've heard in an EL-84, Class A Voxy sorta amp. The only downside of the amp is the weight. You have to be dedicated to good tone if you lug this thing from gig to gig. :)
The Cub is heavy but this thing is really heavy.

My lord you people are old, sick and wrong.

I love a good amp as much as anyone, but if your choice are sex with a beautiful woman, or playing your amp, then you have no hope...

    Still nice amps.

Maybe it's that we get enough sex that we might as well [temporarily] opt for a boutique combo instead!

    :D
