got one the other day... man... you have all got to buy this... it is amazing.

Turn up the volume and contour, rool down the gain, youve got one hell of an awsome teble booster.

Turn up gain and contour youve got a tight gain super sustaining lead sound. turn down the contour and it gets looser and less compressed.

    This is incredible...

    seriously buy it!

might i add... i find it to be much better suited for lead... and not so well for rythm.

It's a great pedal. I like it for rhythm as well as leads, but I'm not looking for low end tight tones. I actually boost it with the Super Poblano Picoso for a really sludgy, fuzzy tone. :drool After searching for years for the perfect fuzz, which I thought was the answer to all my drive needs, the SCOD took over overnight!

I've had mine for a year now and love it.

After I got it, people wondered if it was the new 'flavor of the month'.

It's definitely not the 'f o m' for me. It has loved every guitar and amp combination it's ever seen and it plays well with others--pedals that is ;-)

Depending on the style of music it can be great for rhythm but it is killer for leads.

    IMHO A great pedal!

I try my best to squelch "F.O.M." type excitement. Causes us to have to make too many pedals... I'd rather spread it out over a few years rather than a couple months.

Thanks for the support! I hope you continue to have a lot of fun playing through your SCODs!

Ditto, that's one of its best features I find. I can get so many different shades of dirt with my guitar's volume knob. Wicked pedal.

I just got a SCOD and I think I am going to like it. I needed something different than the tubescreamer. I think it sounds good for rhythm as well as lead work. I can't wait to gig with the SCOD this weekend.

may be a longshot, but is the SCOD based on a RAT?
