Anybody know the difference between the Cat S.K. MkII (little box) and american edition ? I am going to buy one, but the store manager showed me both models at the same price. Which I will buy ?

somebody told me that the american edition has the 808 chip original, and the mkII no, so that the american edition is warmer... it is truth or it is a foolish thing ?

I've already replied to you email, but yeah - foolish. They are the same on the inside.

And just to back up erksin (who's word is gold on this issue anyway), I've had both, and yes, they are identical inside. I think I may actually have pics at home too ;) . But yes - identical.

The only difference you will find was the limited Silver Kiss Trinity version, which a compression switch and mids switch. Amazing pedal!

Won't ever come close to the originals though... the protos and Mk1's.
Bright, clear and chimey... absolute love... at least for me. I know a lot thought they were too bright. But my proto #3 is just right for me... nice Voxy tone!
