Kinda' surprised that there hasn't been any real discussion about this yet!

Catalinbread's take on the famous EMT plate reverb. Given the success of the Belle Epoch, Echorec, and Topanga, I'm expecting good things.

Well, I'm keenly awaiting it's release and hopefully more demos in the meantime. It has a high pass rather than the usual low pass tone control, which is interesting. I guess they felt that the more useful in a plate simulation.

The other reverb from Namm which has my attention is the Keeley Aurora.

Not much to say about either yet until we can hear/play them.

A lot of the discussion happened in the Catalinbread NAMM thread, I think.

I've moved away from Catalinbread and sold off all the pedals I had from them late last year, but that being said I'm really digging this and some of thier other new offerings so I may have to just try it out. Any ETA on a release date?

I hate reverb, but I think this could be something I like enough to have on my board. Except there's no way I'm spending $210 on it.

$178 with the standard 15% discount, not too bad at all. I know Catalinbread tries to deny discounts, but everyone does it anyway if you call in. Up to 20% if you use reverb for retailer offers.

Can't wait for March, need to try one!

I am very interested in this magigger, Plate is my favorite type of reverb.

My Dr Scientist Mini Reverberator has some excellent plate settings; I am curious how this one will compare. (The Dr Scientist also has great halls and rooms, and a rotary simulator - this new one from C'bread will have to be awfully good to top it)

The discounts for their pedals on Rogue seems to be working all the time

    This thing is a beast.

Plate verb is the most musically pleasing IMO, plus, with the added drive knob - this makes the perfect unit for both swells and solos.

This is a must have for me. My Topanga is the best spring reverb I've ever owned.
