Wow, it’s gotten to the point that just the merest mention of Catalinbread these days gets the torches and pitchforks crowd frothing at the mouth.
    :horse
    Have at it boys!

    I don't get it..
Tube screamers for me really kill the touch response & dynamics in my tone.
I have an OD 808 & hardly ever use it but it does the low mid thing quite well.
Bridge pickup + TS + Marshall = killer rock tones, no doubt.

If the signature is worth $200 extra, can I at least get one that is legible so I know who signed it?

I have my share of modded Tube Screamers, so maybe I'll save some cash, skip the pedal, and just order the signature.

This is like a swing-and-a-whiff but so hard that the batter loses his balance

Saying the TS thing is played out is like saying the whole Strat thing is played out.

this is hardly catalinbread's "latest offering".
that's a misleading conclusion to come to.

Maxon asked them along with Keeley, and Pigtronix to mod the TS-808 in honor of it's 40th anniversary.
    so they did.
    that's it.

    get a grip, children.
whiny, entitled brats need to go practice guitar and do something productive.

I'm sure it's a useful pedal but most people here already got one, for cheaper too. A drive pedal for $400 I'd expect it to do something sensational, like teleportation.
