In another classic ass whooping, the Cavs dominated the hawks in Atlanta to go up 2 games. Great help from the bench at both ends, Cavs headed home for a possible sweep, great action.

Yikes! GS looks like an NBA champion right now. CAVS only hope against GS would be that their defense wreaks havoc on other teams. Boston couldn't sniff a 3-pointer; same with Atlanta. I think ATL is shooting 17% on 3-balls? The only reason the Bulls won 2 games is because they beat the heck out of the CAVS from a physical perspective.

If the CAV's defense holds up, (AND the CAVS DO indeed reach the finals) I'm not sure we'll see the blowout beat downs GS is putting on the Rockets. I'm shocked! Also kind of shocked that CAVS were able to go to Atlanta and come away with 2 wins. Defense and draining 3-balls seems to be working for the CAVS right now.

Yes...there is NO WAY the CAVS would not win two more games before getting to the finals, and thankfully Cleveland sports are not cursed.

Can somebody - anybody - tell me how in the heck the Hawks even made it into the playoffs? Yet another team built for regular season success that has no clue how to play/win playoff basketball.

Not really because of delladova or whatever his name is keeps up at his pace of injuring opposing players, there won't be anyone left. Of course, this is modern basketball so we won't see retaliation for his dirty antics of chop blocking.

Looks like a sweep on both sides which means an 8 day lay off before the finals unless they change the schedule.

A bit of a stretch there. The only player he's injured was Korver and it was just a hustle play, not anything done on purpose. I give him props for playing as hard as he does, he's a hard-working little dude.

Hawks woke up last night, had 2 chances in OT, missed both shots. Next game should be tight

All hail King James! No matter which teammates.
For some reason he's been in the last 5 or 6 finals I row whether winning or loosing he had made it no matter what team he's on..........

    See a pattern.

Lebron is a drama queen diva. Never seems physically hampered in the least until after a play or game when everyone's looking at him. Then he's limping or wincing like he's been shot with an arrow or collapsing. Has to be carried off the court last year in the Finals for cramps? Really, Lebron?

He's possibly the greatest physical player of modern times, and he wants to be beloved like Michael and Magic and Bird so badly it makes him limp and collapse.

If both CF end in a sweep (very likely) and we have to wait 8 or 9 days that is going to suck.....

Although this thread could get interesting. :)

Yes, there's a pattern: done it with stacked teams in a weak conference. Cavs would be a 5-7 seed in the west and get bounced in the first round.

Not at all. The ESPN hype machine and kids thinking he's the greatest of all time is an especially big insult to me being a guy who grew up in Chicago in the 90's.

His numbers speak for themselves. He's the best player out there right now.
