CC vs 616 vs montavillan

    How do these three delays compare and which would ypu choose?

    I had all 3 at one point, and traded the ekko 616. I just felt like it had too much overlap with the Montavillian settings I was using. That being said, the 616 can get some INSANE sounds. I also kept the Carbon Copy because it is a cheap, simple, great sounding pedal. I use the Montavillian and Carbon Copy together on the same board.

    cool info on a thread i thought was DOA!!!

    Im keeping my CC, not enough enthusiasm for the other two.

    I'd take the Montavillian, because it has a tone control.

    Memory boy sounds like metallic ass compared to a Montavillain. To each his own though...ass that is.

    They will all do the job...I think the Monta has more character but the VFE delay looks to be a better choice than the other two listed if you choose otherwise.
