Saw this on my Facebook feed:

Got me wondering what the price and release date is. I'm wondering how one or two of these would sound with a Fender PA 100 for a Stoner Rock/Doom type thing.

That would be me.....man, looking at this photo of KWS and I and one thing is clear; Beween last years medical issue and the BBQ in Texas, I need to get back to the gym! :D

I think the 15" will street at $129 or thereabouts....I'll double check.

With regard to the date, we have production scheduled in March. As a footnote, we've really made the push to have this speaker and the G12 Cream Alnico out much sooner after NAMM (vs. previous years).

FWIW, I have been gigging with this 15" (1x15 cab) with my 68' Plexi (see signature) and a pedal board....it sounds insane! This rig with my Nocaster covers a lot of ground....from Buck Owens to Buck Cherry....but mostly TX country! :D

Very interesting! I have a '59 tweed Fender Pro that I'd like to try this speaker in. Currently I'm running a Creamback G12M 65w in it on a Mojotone 15" to 12" adapter board, and I've been impressed with Celestion's offerings in the last few years. That said 15" speakers can be somewhat odd ducks, but I'll try this speaker when it's released as I've yet to hear any 15" in my Pro...

curious, too. Would like to know how it compares to the eminence legend in my rambler. 150w vs 100w, 103db vs 99db. the advertised "warm midrange" is what interests me.

I believe they've landed in the USA! I am still gigging with mine around Austin and still love it. Generally I use it with a Friedman BE100 or my ZWreck.....mucho tone! :D

Should be on the market any day! I plan to try one in my once basket case now restored '59 Fender tweed Pro. I've only heard the amp with either a Celestion Gold or Creamback on a 15" to 12" adapter ring. I'm quite eager to give the new Fullback a try.

Hey y'all.....here's a quick dirty video that I did over the weekend. It's wobbly and the cab is not direct mic'd, but you will get the point. I am noodling on my Friedman in this video, and then the next video will show a single channel American voiced amp (my Carp Amp) plus pedals. Enjoy!

I think I included the voicing in the video!haha

I'd say sometimes Greenback-like if anything. Warm but not dark at all.

So I'm bumping this because through a friend and a favor, i have one in to audition. I'm going to try to do a little video, but so far I'm very impressed. The Weber I had in there, was shrill. I've loaded this in a 58 Fender Pro (a real one) that's been refreshed by one of the industry's best (cap job, etc). It's a healthy singing pro. THe ceramic weber was nasally and shrill..much like the old fender 15's..I'd been pondering a change to a 12" speaker.

Dropped the full back in last night. Damn, really nice speaker. Balanced and warm, not too shrill, not too basy. Like a G12M with extended range. Handled the P90's really well, definitely warmed up the amp. Starteed with the EQ at noon, usually that would cut my head off with this amp, but it was warm and lush and articulate without being icepicky. And this is right out of the box.

Let me get some time on it, but I think this is a winner in the 15" Guitar speaker realm. Really nicely done!!

How would this compare to a EV15L. This is the 15" version of the famous EV12L. I'm getting a cabinet with this speaker, it should be killer but if it's not...
