Just loaded a 4x12 with those and compared it to my other 4x12s.
All I can say...dayum I can't believe how cool the new 20 watt greenies sound. My new fave!

I was just listening to some clips on your site
    awesome playing

I really dig the tone and vibe and feel I get from "unnacompanied thang"

I was going to email you about your speakers on that...

    now I see this..

what about in a 2x12 instead of a 4x12 where 25w gbacks would be a bit overwhelmed... ???

    thanks in advance

Actually for close miking I always use a V30 in a iso cab.
    My 2x12...
1 with V30s, one with Classic 80s, one with H30s. And I have to make me one with Greenies. Not worried about frying the speaker, just put a new one in.

Dig them?!?! I love them! They sound better than my 30 year old Greenies right out of the box.

They're the UK build 20 watt 75 Hz cone Ms to go with the 30 watt 55Hz H magnet ones.
I like the Hs, but didn't think I would necessarily prefer them over the usual re-issue H30s. But those Greenies just totally rocked.

I'm putting two Heritage G12Ms in tonight in a Divided by 13 4x12. I'm putting them on the top and leaving 2 Heritage G12H30s on the bottom. Hope that sounds good, what do you thinik?

Ed, this may be the first time we have ever agreed on speakers.

I have been singing the praises of the Heritage G12M's for a while now. Put em in my 2X12 and in my Top Hot 1X12 combo.
I have a Heritage G12H and it is a bit harsh, takes a while to break in from what I hear so I will keep it for a while. The 12M's are awesome right from the word go!

Doug, you should really check them out, thay don't work with all amps but when they do work, look out!!
I know Avatar has them for a reasonable price now.

    Gat,
Definetly give a review on this set up.

I thought of doing this in my 2-12 รท13, hoping to possibly bring down the overall loudness of the amp. Let me know if that seems to happen at all. My thought is the M would begin to breakup earlier while the H keeps that big bottom end together.

i have a pair of the heritage G12H 30's in my orange 2x12 and i'm really diggin them. they did take a little longer to break in but they're fine now. i actually don't have a desire to search for old pre rola's anymore. i really want a 4x12 cab with two of the G12H 30's and 2 of the scumbag H30's in the 75hz model. i think the pair of the 55hz and the 75hz would sound good.

I will need one for my iso cab, looks like the constant V30 in my clips is gonna come to an end. :)

Has anone compared these greenies to the Guytron Bigtone 55's? I hear such great things about those from everyone who has tried them.
