Thinking of maybe picking one up from Nik and making my own cabinet for it. Anybody have one or have heard one? i'm only really familiar with the Super Reverb, not its tweed counterpart.

2 years ago I asked Nik to custom build a head 5F4[not available from him at that time].He ordered 1 custom chasi from his supplier, they sent him 10.So it was added to his line up.Had the bias pot mounted externally.I use it with a 2x12 cab, around 33 watts.Tweed clean and takes an OD pedal well. One of the cleanest Tweeds IMHO.Great amp.Never did get a cab for it ,just take some measurements and google the usual suppliers.Good luck!

Does it have a good amount of headroom? how would you compare the clean headroom to a JTM45 or Tweed Bandmaster?

    thanks for the help.

Same chassis as a tweed bandmaster save for a different feedback resistor in the tone circuit....3-10"s in the bandmaster will obviously be a bit louder and sound a bit different than 2 10"s in the 5f4 super.

I might just opt for the Bandmaster, i emailed Nik on the matter.

any further opinions are welcome, thanks a bunch.
