You are smiling so I’m assuming he said yes...cool
That's great, I'm not a fan of early shape so I'm gonna order 2 enclosures (Chrome and gold) and rehouse my Centuras. Thanks!
Yep, just waiting to hear back when they'll be available. He also mentioned the kit which will ship with the same enclosure. Not sure if my soldering skills are up to that though.
I think I'm ok with that brushed metal finish (for now at least). It has that vintage look that I like.
Hmm... they dropped the design that was initially internet-voted. I wonder why?
Nick does good work.
Incase anyone wanted to hear a review of the Centura next to the Tumnus. Playing is subpart at best but tones sound pretty good.
thank you, reverb!
Awesome! Could you please upload more pictures of new enclosure? I really dig the new shape, more squarish I guess.
definitely closer to the original centaur enclosure...
Wow, that's nice. I've never had the chance to see a real Klon but jugding by pictures, I can't see huge differences
daaaaang... that's so nice! I wonder if it is possible to have this shiny box but with horsie logo on it?
You guys should go to ceriatone’s instagram and check out the custom black enclosure. Very drool worthy.
Why go Instagram? It already posted here by the owner )
My gold Centaur was rounder just like the first Ceriatone enclosure, but yes, the silver enclosures were sharp and polished, closer to the new silver centura.
Yes, Nik told me like a year ago that first Centura enclosures were based on rounder Klons and that he thought that it was cool because they were so unique. This is the first time that I actually see one of those rounder Klons!
Anyone have intel on a possible gold anodized version?
I don't know...I only watched about half of your demo and, admittedly through cheap headphones, but I thought the Centura sounded a little clearer than the Tumnus. Similar otherwise. I did find it interesting, though, that the size of the Tumnus kicked the Centura off of your board when you've still got the Diamond delay and a Strymon Flint still on there. Not exactly small pedals themselves...although the Centura IS a big ol honker...
Yeah I’m sure it is. I just chose the no horse option. I said nothing about a shiny enclosure. I think that his new supplier is making them this way.
apparently they have chrome and gold coming, but the gold looks nothing like a centaur gold
