    Jack,

    Sounds nice.

    Couple questions.

    What speaker (s)?

Delay coming off the mic, or ahead of the amp, or in the loop?

How would you compare it to the Fuchs you owned, or even the Ethos?

    Thanks!

Very nice Jack --- would be helpful to do a demo exploring the cleans a bit more.

Sounded good Jack, liked the direct approach to explaining the switches, and boost controls.

    Will do.

    To Jim:

Two Rock 1x12 cab with Eminence RW&B speaker, Sennheiser 609 mic and a TAD mic off the speaker.

Reverb and delay added in software. I have a klein-ulator coming in a couple days and then i'll be able to get effects in the amp. Like the dumbles, this has no buffered effects loop.

    Jack,
I could be wrong...but the 124 amp that this one is supposed to be based on.
That one started as having a deep switch but was later modded by Dumble into a Mid Boost. Not sure if Nik changed it to a deep boost or just labeled the mid boost incorrectly.
Also you mention Mid boost on the rear and that it lifts the tone stacks giving more mids.
Again don't know what Nik has done but on a real Dumble the two switches on the rear are for clean/OD and Pre Amp Boost, which is a type of tone stack lift but not really a mid boost per se.

Again I could be wrong but I think you may want to double check those just to be sure.

    All regards

I think Jack is referring to the PAB, which is the second switch on the footswitch.

    Right Jack?

That was what I was thinking as well.
Also I have to wonder about the deep switch.
I am betting it is really a mid boost.
Jack does it function like a deep switch or a mid boost?

    I peeped the layout.
It is a mid boost on the front panel, not a deep switch.
Although I suppose it can be called anything but as it relates to dumbles it is mislabeled.

It sounds like a bassy low-mid boost, it makes the tone fatter.

Thanks Tony. For some reason, I'm really struggling with the guitar today. :(

Not bad. I'd still like to see more clips with a strat, but I'm seriously considering one of these amps towards the end of this year.

I just really wish I'd get a chance to play one first.

    re: two newest clips

    Good playing , as always.....

    But......

Definitely feel like either you or the amp bond better with the Les Paul. The Hamer's not really sounding as good with that set-up, IMO.

Still really curious what YOU think of the amp.....especially compared with your Fuchs and Ethos, etc.

    Thanks!

It's a fantastic amp. The fuchs and ethos are great as well. At that level, I'm not sure one is better than the other. The ethos is wonderful because you can plug it into anything (including a mixer) and get your sound but the amps have some organic quality to them that is cool too.
