Follow along as I build a Ceriatone Son of Yeti lunchbox amp.
Did the heater wiring tonite...
I love watching a good kit build. Will be living vicariously through you on this one, looks like you're off to a great start. Nice tube socket wiring!
I want one ..
Very interested in the result Gary. I've been eye-balling this kit for a couple weeks now. I may be asking a few questions as you go, hope you don't mind.
The few demos of it on Youtube look very promising.
I've been considering building one of these. Subscribed!
I just came in here to ask if you have ever enjoyed a glass of "Pliny the Elder" IPA?
Never met a beer I wouldn't drink... LOL
Teflon sockets on this build...
What are you doing for a cab?
I figured since your username was "PlinytheWelder" you had to of had it......
Hey so what is this amp? I looked on the site and all I could figure out is that it's 20 watts.
Looking forward to the final build and some clips!
It uses a couple of 6v6's, not EL84's... I couldn't resist getting one...
filling up the board...
How's the progress coming along?
Might be a silly question, but does the Ceriatone come with an instruction booklet, or just the drawings and you have to figure it out?
Awesomeness!!! Subscribed to follow along!!!
Is there anything you need to buy in addition to what's in the kit?
Ceriatone kits normally come with a schematic and layout drawing.
The kits themselves come in varying levels of components and priced accordingly.
Now a ratsnest of wires to be sorted out and hooked up...Changed the mid tone cap to a .047uF, too.
Didn't come with a schematic, just the layout drawing on the website.
I'll be interested in how you like the sound. There's a thread on the Marshall where a guy who just bought one only liked one setting.
Would this be a good option for a first build?
