Okay, here's the question, is there a low gain pedal out there that doesn't take away low end? I love my AC booster, and it does this pretty well, but I'm looking for something with a bit less mid emphasis that doesn't kill low end when the drive's set low. What I don't want is something bright, like the tim or timmy pedals, they just didn't quite work for my rig, tele or strat type guitars into pretty clean blackface type amps. So, is there a pedal out there that'll do this? I've been using a noc3 rock candy and it does pretty well, but still drops a tiny bit of bass.
    Thanks for the help,

    Shannon ember.

Or Kingsley Jester for the next tax bracket option.... And that one will do almost anything...

The Green Rhino sounds awesome at low gain and has great dedicated bass and mid controls.

not sure how you define low gain but i have always loved what my Skreddy Screwdriver Deluxe does with the bass. While it is capable of doing distortion and crunch it is also great for low gain.

Herman's lead time is at least 30 days and he only answers emails written in Esperanto. It's a terrible business model but the 'Snatcher is totally worth it.

Sounds like you may like an RC Booster. I've got one and it rocks. Very transparent but has a bass control that actually works. I do find however that your amp needs to be cooking a bit for this pedal to really shine, but that is case with most great pedals IMO.

    Easy... Wampler Ecstasy.
Transparent, can do low overdrive, PLEANTY of lowend & high end either way (if you want it). No mid hump.

Most (if not all) the Barber stuff has internal trimpots to adjust bass. They're very usable and easy to set and forget.

Great overdrives with a bass control. I loved my Super Sport and my LTDs for this reason.

TS9DX Turbo Tubescreamer. It has a knob with 4 settings...The first two settings give it lots of bottom end.

I use it for exactly what you want it for. It is almost always on.

Keeley modded Boss Blues Driver did it for me. I was looking for exactly what You described. I play Fender strats and a mustang threw Fender amps mostly.
