    Hello,

I bought a new Epiphone ES-335 Pro and I would like to try out a few different string brands and possibly 2 different gauges (10 and 11) to determine which one I like the best on the guitar. I haven't had the guitar setup yet but plan to do so after I figure out the final string brand and gauge.

Do you guys see any issues with changing strings and gauges multiple times within a span of 2 -3 days or should I spread it out over a longer period of time?

Also, any recommendations on brand and gauge (I understand that brand can be a very personal thing) for this guitar? In the past I have used D'Addrio 10s on my solid body guitars and have been pretty happy with those. I think those are the stock strings on this guitar as well.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Put some elixir 9s on there and never look back. Easy to play and last a long time.

If you tune down use 10s

Nah, change strings as often as you want. It won't hurt it.
