Just a quick heads up - 4 of my Chapins will be at NAMM this year. A couple of guitars will be in the Fargen/Menatone booth, a couple more at the Mad Professor Booth. Come by and check them out. You might think you know what they do, but you might be surprised by some of the tricks under the hood!

Stopped by the Fargen booth for a few minutes, both guitars and amps sounded fantastic!

Man you have some amazing Chapins. Bill truly is in a class by himself, and that is only reaffirmed the more I try other stuff.

I've been damn lucky to be able to play guitars that are better than I deserve. I'm glad you guys had a chance to check them out. Josh, what you, Dana O and Big Mike were doing just gives me chills!

That Hawk of David's slayed me - great guitar.

ALL the Chapins I played were great guitars, but that Hawk ... WOW! Oh, and Josh's 'Houla - WOW, even with .013's on it, it played great.

Photographic evidence of Dana O. being slayed by the Hawk:

Dave's Hawk looks ALMOST as good as my Autumn Hawk! What's that fretboard made of?

    Hey David,

Nice to see you again at NAMM. I had a chance to play Josh Smith's Tele. What a great neck and tone. I love that finish...

I should have checked this thread before I went there... I was busy working ahead...

Hey Tomo! NAMM was crazy and I never had a chance to hijack you and spend the quality time I'd have liked to with you - you kept escaping from the Eminence booth! Hope it was a successful trip for you.

JB - straight rosewood on maple - nothing too kinky. And, um, *ALMOST*??? ;)
