Brian had to close (for technical reasons) the rather long original Chapin Guitars thread so here is part 2.

    Best, Pete.

Perhaps we can persuade D-O-C to put up more of his photos here of various Chapin pieces?

    Best, Pete.

Impossible. Can't be done. Not to be considered.

Kid Andersen of The Nightcats has heard good things and is interested in checking out some of Bill's work. Above are the five I'll be taking to his house - 3 Hawks and 2 'Houlas.

This one is out on loan at the moment, happy it's being played out, but I am starting to miss it!

Maybe I'll have some others to show soon. Maybe... :)

Luvverly.....I think the top one has the best 'burst I've seen, ever.

Can you put Hank up again, Dave?

I've really got to be able to put up some photos (I also acquired recently a couple of interesting SG's - take no notice, Bill...).

    Best, Pete.

I've got my fingers crossed my Hawk is going to be the first new guitar on this thread. Hopefully, pics very soon.

Pete, my daughter Sophia's two favorite guitars are Hank and the burst.

Its cool as heck. I like having the three way switch now o at the core its super simple with the ability to get really out there into new sounds.

Bill would be best to fully describe it, But I went from stock 5 way strat switching to now having 10 different very usable tones. Its now a 3 way switch with two push pulls on the tone knobs which are now a master tone and a bridge tone control. It allows for all the classic strat tones, tele tones and some tones that are new and unique. Also series bucker type tones are available. Its really cool.

Still trying to figure out that wacky wiring on the Stratahoula.
    Still waiting for the Fatline.

No pics of the Tele-Gibs, unfortunately.

The wiring is pretty mind-twisting. But way cool... :dude

You know what, I can't deal with all that. Even a simple push pull gets me all facokta (sp??). When I got my 2 Rock I was half out of my mind because of a single box with three buttons. Give me my 3 way, volume and tone. I can even go as far out as 2 vol and 2 tones but that is it.

Hang in their JB. Do you know where you are in the process?

Two Tele-Gibs are here in San Jose, there may be a third one but I don't remember for certain. Both SJ Tele-Gibs belong to inactive TGP'ers. Maybe if they're lurking they might step in and speak up or send pictures for some accommodating person like me to post?
