Pete you are more than welcome. i had a great time too. I loved playing Hank. It is a special guit. The neck is fan freaking tastic . The action is a little high but Hank still plays great. The Beagle and Hank are a really nice match. No matter what the setting were they still sounds great. I really loved the bridge and neck at the same time. The SRV Strat sounds pretty good too. Different but still good. I hope we can get together again some time.

PS I actually found the listening to the decay pretty interesting. I am sorry I had to rush out.

Hey, I'm on Destroy All Guitars twice! It's my redwood Hawk that on the rollover for "Hawk", and then the Mahogany bent top shows up on the Hwak page.

    Pete & Saul&all,

just got off the phone w/Bill, who's had a helluva week, but is back home & resting up. it'll be a few days at least before he's back in action. the good news is there's no bad news...well, the bad news is he's feeling like hell - but that will pass & all will be well.

A Chapin actually used live, my now rather old "the blue rider":
Played through a Bogner Exctasy (Borrowed, sounded nice but not great, only used the blue channel (what else) on very low volume.
Another pic (the guitar and me are slightly out of focus):

That's a great 'burst on that piece. Now if that was me I would have specified a white guard - yet look how good that black one is.............

When are we going to see the new model launch pics?

    Best, Pete.

It's getting wrapped up sometime around the first week of July according to Bill. It's been a long time coming but it should be worth the wait. Bill can probably describe the guitar details better if he chimes in. I believe there is a beautiful blackwood fingerboard underneath the masking tape.

    Very nice, Wing.
OK the top is terrific but that back looks amazing!

    How're your amps?

The little Gorilla amp is sitting here collecting dust because I've been playing classical all this time. My other amps are in pieces right now. I'll have to make the time to put the experimental high gain low watt one together just for the RawkHawk.

I like what Bill's been doing to the headstock(s) since switching to the gold logo.

    Best, Pete.
