Does anyone here ever realise what the real CC pikup looks like ?



All those shown here have nothing but looks in common with the real thing.

To install a genuine CC in your guitar like John L. did:



you'd have to dispose of half of the wood from your plank :)


I know I wouldn't.

I know I wouldn't.
Even Gibson changed the design pretty quickly to a magnet that would fit under the coil. Magnets have improved a lot since then.

FYI, it is the two big magnet bars what makes this pickup's sound.
I hope you know which ones.

I have a Lollar CCHB which sounds good, but it is no CC pickup.

I had Pete from Vintage Vibe make me a matched set of three pickup for the custom Tele that I built. It sounds fabulous!

I found one of the vids I did a couple of months ago. Shows the Lollar CC and Vintage T with moderate overdrive from a Glaswerks Zingaro.
