Now that they basically have the feature set finalized, have they put out a list of the features? I've watched some of the videos, but I don't have the best sense of the "basic" functionality. My hope here is to use Blooper as an awesome phrase sampler and that justifies the cost of getting something with the more interesting advanced looping features. Kind of a gateway drug, if you will.

After watching all of the videos the the other night while up with a sick baby, I caved and bought one. My guitar playing at this point consists of entertaining my son, my dog, and myself by making loops. I've been looking to upgrade my Ditto looper, but everything I've looked at is either not worth it feature wise or is massive. This exceeds my needs, and the modifier system just looks fun. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love the short Montreal Blooper Bonanza videos! Very nice, quick way to get a good sense of what it can do. Now, if we can see how saving loops is gonna work...

Preordering things like this is always a reminder of how childishly impatient I am. :D

At least it’s only until December. I’ve waited a year plus for plenty of other things.

Where will you put blooper in your chain and why?

i’m not sure about the command-process for saving over USB, but at my last briefing:
the “last-recording” — up to 43 seconds — was being saved internally to boot up again at next start-up, and will persist until it’s been cleared or a new loop is recorded.

Mine will go early in the chain mainly out of necessity since it’s mostly stereo after the first few mono pedals. But I also kinda prefer having wacky loopers early in the chain so i can affect them. I have the Timeline at the end for utilitarian/practice looping.

Does that mean all layers in the last session or just literally the last thing recorded? I’m sure that’s subject to change in the next few months.

I'm thinking between the Ditto and Count To Five, that way I can record something on the Ditto and mangle it with the Blooper, but then still have a bunch of stuff further down the line to mess up what the Blooper puts out.

Prob a lot of moving around once the Blooper is actually in the chain and experimentation begins, but ... going to start right before the end of the chain. Theory being that I don't want those loops playing into my momentary loopers (Ct5 and Outward), but I am ok with those things going in to the Blooper.

I've rearranged a bit already, and the outward is pre-generation loss and the Ama reverb is on the bottom row. Turn the Shallow Water on its side and I can squeeze a blooper right before the 720.

I can record whatever's happening from all three devices into the 720 when I'm ready to finalize something.

if i remember correctly from that time, everything recorded within that loop is saved, which would mean both layers & any-modifiers-that-were-actually-recorded..... which kinda makes sense to me, for whatever that’s worth.
