i'm a little hesitant to post this as I just threw this on my board and we started practice, but I on the fly i got these sounds in order on the clip:
0:00 fast rate clean flanging sounds
    0:43 Octave>TS>Flanger
2:28 slower subtle chorus/univibe type sounds
    3:03 leslie like tones?
    3:52 whale call!

I may have some this weekend to get some more slow flanging with heavier OD or fuzz into it

Sounds pretty fantastic to me. What dirt are you using in that clip?

Thanks! I used a Rat clone, a King of tone - red side high gain - and TS-808. In the beginning there are spots i run through the same strum or lick back to back three times and I am running through each of thise pedals in that order. I used a loop switcher so only the dirt and th spectre is in the loop at once. I think is responded to the Rat the best. Ill have to add comments as to what is going in but most if this is through the zero point with negative polarity. A few times i changed to positive. Also about half way i moved the zero just back ccw so the through zero is less prounounced and later fully cw past zero. The end is back to the crossover point with a little delay

The pic shows the rest of the settings which i didnt change.

    Nice, thanks, really sounds great!

Can't wait until I've saved up enough for a Spectre.

Here is the "sample and hold" demo video you requested in your post. My favorite example of it is towards the end of the video when the zero knob is modulated (as opposed to the width knob). That bit starts at 4:03

great video! i love to go to the dip switch school! can this "sample and hold" kind of waveform also be achieved with the dip switches on the wombtone or any other of your pedals? it ain't just a flanger thing, right?

Thx! Theoretically all the pedals but it works particularly well on Wombtone too.

Joel, forgive me if I (or anybody else) has already asked you this, does the LFO shut off completely when the Rate is fully CCW?

Thanks Joel! Very cool. Out of curiosity, is there a way to ramp it so that you get some in-between S&H values as well? I'm thinking of the S&H setting on the Clusterflux or (to a slightly lesser degree) the Alexander F13, where it randomly steps among samples between the max & min settings? Not that the Spectre has to do that - it already does a ton ... just curious. Thanks again!

You can't get anything truly random, unless you had a CV generator that did random stuff and plugged that in to the CV/EXP input. Otherwise it's just going to "sample" that sweep where you set the rate up with the ramp knob.

No, it just goes suuuuper slow. If you want to shut off the LFO completely you can just plug in an expression pedal into the EXP jack (and don't select any dip switches for parameter control) than you have manual control of the "LFO" delay line. The width knob, in this case, limits how far you want to push that delay line.

very cool brother, I'm having another guy helping me build them now so they should start being more widely available. I'm also opening up orders to all dealers at NAMM next week so it won't just be CME that has them.
