Cheap Gibson Acoustics?

    Didn't Gibson buy Garrison Guitars up in Canada? That's probably where it came from. I seriously doubt Gibson Montana is going to start bolting on all their original design flattop necks.

    I play regular set-neck Gibsons, but a number of guitars (Taylor, Collings, probably SC and many others) are made with bolt-on necks. A lot of these are on the "high end" side; doesn't seem to bother those that love 'em.

    yeah they bought Garrison...this guitar was made in Cananda...so its a garrision...first one I've seen.

    Nothing wrong with a bolt on neck. Neck resets are much easier. Even Collings uses bolt-on necks on some of their guitars.

    Garrisons are actually pretty decent guitars.

    I almost bought an old Vox 12-string with a bolt neck but then I realized it was an acoustic guitar lol
