Anyone tried these cheap pickups from aliexpress ?
I bought a hot rails clone for 7 dollars. 10k dcr supposed to be used in the neck but i used it on the bridge.
It made my cheap 100 dollar strat sounds like a humbucker now. Certainly is not muddy at all.
I know it makes no sense to buy such cheap pickups in an expensive guitar, but it also makes no sense to put a good pickup like Seymour duncans and the like into a 100 dollar guitar too.
The upgrades certainly made the guitar sound better/fuller.

Also bought a lil 59 clone but it's not a drop in fit, may have to file the pickguard a bit, but hey, it's alright on a 100 dollar cheap strat clone.
