If you want to learn how to sing rock correctly listen to and study Robin Zander.Head and shoulders above Steve Perry/Plant and a bunch of others. Great song writers. Bun E ? Well he was the drummer and they still take care of him so it’s all wood! A very important modern rock band for sure. My fav album is the one Todd Rundgren made with them.

Their version of Sgt Peppers is pretty impressive. A great rock band doing the greatest rock bands album, can't really beat that.

... that version of Surrender from Reading '79 sounds a lot like Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols, if Johnny and the lads were a bit more proficient on their instruments.

In 1999 or 2000 they pulled up to the Crocodile in Seattle and did three nights playing one album each night as a set and then playing other stuff afterwards. I was fortunate enough to make that opening night. 500 people packed in tight, all rocking out, and singing along. That was a night to remember.

Bun E is like Michael Anthony. Everyone talks like they were the best ones in their bands.
