I'm an older guy, so not my style at all. But I thought it was interesting. Did you do that vocal totally live, or did you have to piece it together. If I took meth, I couldn't talk/sing that fast. LOL Good luck to you. I hope you find musical success. Music is so much fun.

We recorded the band all together and then did the vocals as a Seperate track. The main vocal track is one take with a second added for doubling the chorus. I put a megaphone effect on the back up vocal and a tiny bit of verb and delay on the whole thing.
It is a very basic Garageband recording.

Also, we are not specifically a rap group. Our singer does very little rapping and primarily sings on the rest of our music. This tune was the most ready so I posted it first. There is some heavy rock, funk, reggae, and jammy stuff to come.

Shawn, it sort of reminded me of RHCPs. Kinda like an auctioneer. I am not into rap at all, but the cadence the singer was doing impressed me that he could do it that fast. I started recording with Garageband. I moved to Logic Express soon after. Keep at it. It is so much fun, and I have done stuff that wasn't in my normal range of music, and found it even more fun than staying my comfort spot.
