very nice! Looks very much like a Bogner XTC OS 2x12. I wonder if they use the same builder...
IIRC, Scott Splawn builds all his cabs in house. I haven't been to his shop in about a month, but I'll ask about the Bogner influence next time I see him.
Nice! What are the measurements?
Yes, they are built in-house. It measures 29 1/2" wide, 24" tall and 12" deep.
Sweet Steve !!! nice cab - Scott is a great person to deal with.
Hope you're still loving the Hamer.
Very nice ! is the baffle angled slightly like the Bogner 2x12? How much are these cabinets ?
Steve you're right ,Scott and his crew are a great bunch of guys. I really don't see ever selling the Hamer. It's exactly what I was looking for after two years of trying about a dozen different guitars.
As for the baffle question, the front is flush and I haven't looked inside it to know if it is internally angled.
Looks a lot like the Bogner, which is a good thing, IMO. Great looking and great SOUNDING cab (the Bogner) so I'd expect similar from this one. It'll probably be a popular model for Scott.
Tall, but not deep 2x12's like that seem to = big sweet midrange, which is very nice IMO.
My Cage open-back is like that. I likes it.
Just a rumor....
Splawn may be about to venture into the EL84 realm.
Good looking cabinet. Do the come in colors?
Definitely! They are all custom made to order. I chose this scheme to match my head which is black covered, gold panel and knobs with a gold mesh grill and white piping. Maybe it's my age (44) but I just like the classic look.
I ask y'all now: does the OP sound like a man who would truly give up guitar playing permanently?* Enjoy your new keyboard but stick around still, please. And if and when you change your mind again, it will be cool.
