That DGT sounds great as does the John Bohlinger demo that is linked from this video. It really nails the Grissom vibe and tone.
Wonder what amp and effects he was using. It really did sound great.
That's a great demo/review. Helps that it is a great player on a killer guitar and amp... I'm sure a few people that see this will be sure to try one of these out next trip to the store if they have not already.
I wonder how different it sounds from my McTrems. Frankly, my McTrems have the perfect necks so I don't think I'd like the smaller ones on the DGTs and I don't want 2 volume controls.
A big difference to the McTrem's is the pickups. The DGT pickups are very, very nice, and they tap extremely well.
All the bigger frets and the set up for 11's.
I love McCarty's but I'm thinking about getting a DGT if I can...
That was great. I like the VVT setup, but like David, I'm afraid of the neck. If I ever see one, I'll definitely give it a test drive.
