Cheep rig soundclip

    I recorded this clip earlier this evening. It wasn't until just now that I realized it was made with the cheapest guitar (Agile AS820, total cost around $350 inlcuding all new electronics and a hardshell case), cheapest amp (Bogen CHA-33 bought off eBay for $50, plus another maybe $100 in tubes, parts, and labor for some circuit tweaks), and cheapest distortion pedal (Bad Monkey, on sale for $29.999 new) I own.

    The cab I used is a Marshall 1960TV that I've had since like 1990, so it is fully depreciated... :p

    sounds good, very vintage !! those bad monkey are awesome IMO

    Thanks. I like the way the High Order P-90s clean up when you roll the volume on the guitar down. The rhythm track was recorded with the same amp setting as the lead track, but with the volume down on the guitar. It gave it some nice chunk.
