    Happy Holidays folks,

Here's an MP3 of my new Chicago Iron Octavian pedal... http://gregv.us/Octavian_GregV.mp3
I just rcv'd a '59 Historic Les Paul that I used into the Octavian and then into my '66 Ampeg Gemini 1 amp. The Ampeg was a little louder than a loud conversation level and the reverb is from the amp, I used my fingers only. I start with the Octavian off and clean Ampeg tone, then Octavian w/ the pedals Volume at 10 o'clock and Boost at 11 o'clock, finally I turn the Boost all the way up around :50 seconds in and the Octavians Volume has not been touched. It really is responsive to attack, you can hear the notes attack/harmonics alter as I change between bridge/neck pickups through out.

Was this the new Octavian Plus pedal? (Was the tone control of the guitar rolled off? If "YES", how much?)

    Cool, thanks everyone!

    Hi Polifemo,
THis was the standard Octavian, not the Plus version... also no tone controls were used or harmed in this MP3 :)

Nice clip Greg. I used to have one of these pedals. I should have kept it. I love the way it sputters and pits and the way the harmonics fight eachother on anything but single notes. You can come up with some pretty wacky stuff!

    Thanks for posting the clip.

Really shows off the pedal well.

I have been selling these for a bit and you really captured the sound in a fairly brief clip. Now you need one of the Parachute Wahs. :D
