Cioks DC8 9V and 12V question

I'm using Cioks DC8 and so far I have enough outlets. But I'm gonna buy more pedals and I'll be running out of slots. I would not want to spend extra money to upgrade/buy an extra power supply.

Just wanted to know for the rightmost 4 slots where you see the "9 12 300" thing, can I use 4 different pedals for each plug? For example, can I plug in a Carbon Copy on the 9V and then Suhr Riot on the 12v right next to it, then maybe a Flashback on the 9V and EP Booster on the 12v?

Or is it that I can only use either the 9V or 12V but not together for 2 distinct pedals?

Thanks in advance!

yup, you can use them together, so long as the total doesnt go over tha max!

in saying that, some pedals wont go together, and may cause problems, hum etc if you mix for instance, two digital pedals.

I actually have a few pedals on my DC10 off both the 9v and 12.

Make sure the pedal you insert in the 12 V tap can be powered via 12v. Also some pedals do not do well chained, you may get noise issues. Do not ex red the mA limit of the taps as the mA are a combined total.

Thanks guys for the information! That's why I like TGP so much it's been a very helpful place for me!

So if I understand correctly, I'm thinking to do the following on the 4 outlets on the right:
- 9v: Carbon Copy (9v 26mA)
- 12v: Suhr Riot (4-18v 8mA)
- 9v: Flashback X4 (9v 300mA)
- 12v: unused because the Flashback X4 will use up all 300mA

Is my plan ok? I wanna make sure before I plug them in to avoid explosion lol.

That will work if the specs you've listed are correct.
