All I want to know is did Clay ever get the thing fixed?

I don't blame the guys for pulling their threads.
It went from a discussion to an inquisition.

Ha, i believe I read in one of the threads that the answer to your question Plexibreath is "nothing better to do".

    Simple curiosity...is that so bad?

I'm always interested in ebay disputes because I use ebay and I'd like to be prepared should something happen to me. Also I like knowing about how certain builders treat their customers even though it looks like Clay won't be building anything any time soon and probably never will on a large scale. I also don't think that an interest in human drama is an odd thing.

Yes, while it is their right to yank the threads, it is awfully coincidental this occurred after the "new" information was presented. If Stress was BS-ing, I'd like to know. Or if OpenG was frontin', I'd like to know. This website is a useful tool for shoppers alert, not a smear-tactic site. Once OpenG stepped up, Stress seemed to step down... well, best of luck to both of 'em to getting what they each deserve: a working pedal and cash money.

The last I read Clay was involved and he asked for the threads to be removed so they could figure it out in private.

So from that thread you formed a judgment of Clay? I'm curious, what did you learn about Clay from that thread?

In a word...it was getting ridicuolus!! Clay will be building me a replacement board...end of story.
Both Mike and myself felt it was better to take Clays advice and resolve this in private...getting a little too soap opera in here:) LOL

He made it clear that the reason he wanted that thread dredged up was "I like knowing about how certain builders treat their customers", I guess my words should have been "forming a judgment of the way Clay treats his customers". The difference is marginal.
