Clean to CJOD with soft volume. Very dynamic and I can get feedback too.

    Enjoy it!

Smooth OD. Sounds very nice. Is this a pedal you've decided on over others or are you just testing the waters?

Hi Tomo-real nice- is it anything like the BB by Xotic?
    is it more subtle perhaps?

As always, you sound great Tomo.

On a side note, I want one of those CJODs. Not sure if I'm ever going to be able to find one with only 50 in existence, but I hope I'm lucky one day.

Sound like a great pedal, real cool gain structure on it sounds very even...
Happy birthday quote made me smile.......

    Thank you very much!

i love many good od pedals. I have been using this
as my main od pedal. Yes, I am still using my Xotic pedals,
Hao pedal, Rumble Mod(I helped Hao to make this pedal,
original one was The Rumble... ).

All good pedals got same goodness overall, but Clay Jones OD
was specifically made for my tone between my Pro Reverb and
my SRV strat. I sent a lot music to him and we talked many hours
on the phone. He really nailed the tone I was after.

Tomo, that pedal sounds cool, I like the way you're able to get the controlled feedback. Can you do that with the BB preamp also?

I'm wanting an OD pedal that is transparent but can be controlled with the volume knob of my guitar and get that controlled feedback like you are getting.

I'll call you soon and have an equipment conversation.

    Take care

    Hi Joe,

Thank you so much! Yes, my CJOD does almost as if a part of my amp.

I just went down my basement check both pedals. Before I plug in any pedals, I want to say that
my amp itself really dynamic and I almost get clean tone feedback. It's sweet clean tone...

Then I plug in my CJOD... If I pick soft... even full 10 from guitar volume... I can play like Joe Pass
chord melody and if I dig any single notes... I get instant feedback. That's what I need for my tone
that I can control by how I play.

The BB preamp does have enough gain to push and get some feedback. but the CJOD has more
depth, clean and more gain same time. It's hard to describe this. It's very natural. The BB preamp
is also really good choice for od pedal. Johnny A likes it too. He uses more pedals now.

Call me next week. We 'll chat more gears!!!

PS, I just came back from fishing. I got a new fishing gear too!

Fishing? Sweet Tomo! What were you fishing for? Did you catch any?
I hear Larry Carlton is an avid fisherman, too.

Great clip Tomo .. not to knock the pedal or anything, but I am pretty sure that the ODS 50 should be able to do that without the pedal even right? (From what I heard at Scottl at least I think it can)

    Hi John,

    Thank you very much!

I think Xotic's BB preamp, AC booster, Hao's Rumble mod are
wonderful pedals. There are some similarity goodness ...

Especically my CJOD was made for my playing so it's very special
to me. Yes, it does express very subtle nuances.

    Thanks,

    Tomo

I love fishing .... but I have been really busy with my work and my kids...

Lately I got really nice set of reel and a rod. I like to use Shimano.

Fishing for bass with my kids. I really love fishing Carp a lot. Once I
get into this..... I spend more time than guitar.... I went to my family vacation
to Maine. I stayed near Long lake. One morning I got up 4am and went to
    fishing!

So you love fishing? Are you pro?

Thank you so much for taking your time to listen to this clip. I can't comment on that.... sorry about that. There are so many great pedals out there. I am still enjoying my CJOD.

Thank for listening. I love the tone. It got enough gain and yet clear... Love melody! Thanks for your comment.
