Hate to be the one to break it to you, but if you run a search, you'll see that Clay Jones has stopped any future production of his OD pedal.

Don't you think Clay could make a living just selling this pedal? I'm jonesing for one real bad but can't pay $700+ for one. Or he could sell the design to another company for a price and make some money from the commission too. Let's take a poll and see who'd buy one if it were made for say, $200

Huh? I don't you get what you mean, bro?
RH is donating any money above what he paid for the CJOD to the Gear Page.
RH, I think you may have accomplished what you set out to do. The pedal sold for such a high price, I think it's unlikely that the buyer could flip it for a profit. I like to think that the cat that wanted this pedal the most, is the cat who was willing to pay such a price.

    In a perfect world......:)

    Noble effort RH.

    peace,
    jai

hey y'all.. i guess i'm the f*@#ing stupid one. and no, i was not trying to win this to flip it for a profit. just really wanted one... really bad... heh heh. and i am a contributing member here, so paying the difference to TGP is no problem to me.

I missed the hole donation thing, that is very cool.

If the guy that bought it only payed that high a price to contribute to that, also very cool & respectable.

I was mearly commenting on the selling price & this is not the first time one of those sold for a rediculous amount.

So in that respect, I still stand by $860 for an overdrive is stupid.

Kudos to RH for doing a very nobel deed.:dude

Kudos to you studio as well for contributing.

I guess I should read more carfully before shooting my mouth off,but the sticker shock set me off.

I think I got just as mad when I say that whole Dumble boost thing:rolleyes:

yes, i know it's a ridiculously high price to pay for an overdrive. but i figure, if it's all that everyone says it is, then i can start selling of a bunch of my other overdrives to make up for it. plus... it's going to TGP! hopefully this forum stays around for many years to come! :dude :dude
