I'm starting to get sweat-gunk buildup on the body of my Trussart SteelDeville. What do you Trussart owners use to clean the body? Regular guitar polish? Anything different or special? Any help would be appreiciated.

BTW - I have a brushed steel body - not a rusted or shiny one. Thanks!

I believe they are flat clearcoated, so a mild glaze or polish might work. Or just use wax and grease remover if you don't want to possibly gloss it up.

I'd give James a call if I were you. He's a really nice guy and could probably help you avoid damaging your beautiful instrument.

Got it! Josh@Trussart was super-cool & helpful. Powerchord is what they recommend, but any non-abrasive cleaner will work fine. Thanks guys! Trussarts rule!!!

Cool ... glad you got the info. I stopped into James shop a while back and can't say enough about how cool he was. As soon as I figure out what I really want, I hope to get one of his creations on order.

Any Guitar Sphincter, Sam's Ass, or even hardware stores. I can't stand the first two - but they stock it.
